Penyuluhan Televisi Digital di Desa Tempuran Kecamatan Kaloran Kabupaten Temanggung

Abstract

Community service activities are activities that are very useful in disseminating knowledge in a study program at a university. The Defense Electronics Engineering Study Program determines the location of community service activities, namely in Tempuran Village, Kaloran District, Temanggung Regency. Furthermore, the Study Program Lecturers recorded the problems experienced by the community members, namely the unfamiliarity of the villagers with the changes in national TV signal transmissions from analog to digital. At that time, there was an Analog Switch Off (ASO) for analog TV broadcasts and broadcasts began to be applied to digital TV. Therefore, the title Socialization was chosen related to this matter. The implementation method is carried out step by step starting from the planning stage, preparation stage, implementation stage and termination stage. Furthermore, the lecturers of the defense electronics engineering study program of the Military Academy carried out the socialization of antennas and digital TV to overcome the difficulties that occurred in the community at that time. The activity was carried out in a safe and smooth condition.
